I’m not exactly sure what I was going for when I started drawing this but I do know that it’s still not finished. I think I was trying to draw something cute…maybe it’ll look right after I redraw it a couple more times.
All right, so I’ve starting to do up some concept images of characters for the comic I’m working on. I have three more main characters to draw. Note: I don’t like my art. This is simply to help me get my point across to an actual artist who I’ll be paying to make my comics look pretty.
One of the things that I hate the most is that I like to talk about projects no matter how far they are from completion or funding. The longer this takes the more it appears to others that you aren’t going to do anything. Unless you’re actually trying to do something you can’t begin to understand how hard things are to do. Especially if said things are generally outside the box.
My goal this year was to do something…anything. Up until these last 30 days, which I’ve spent either sick or injured, I’ve stuck pretty close to my plan to get stuff finished. While we’ve only entered April and there’s still plenty of time to work on things, May is looking to be a crucial month for my efforts.
All except for the largest of my funding projects are completed. The big one is the first issue of what is hopefully an on going story of a digital comic for iPads/other tablets/computers.
I know I’ve promised updates to other things that I don’t mention on this blog :) I’ve been slow about getting that stuff finished. Again, May is looking to be a big month of projects.
